White supremacy is an ideology of peace
by OneEyedJoe ini'm tired of hearing these constant attacks on white supremacists after the events in charlottesville.
why are moderate white supremacists being lumped in together and sharing the blame for the actions of one reprehensible man that misinterpreted the ideals of white supremacy and became violent?
clearly the motivation of such attacks on white supremacists is nothing other than racism.

Anyone who thinks all those non whites are just poor misunderstood souls ought to move into their neighborhood. There is a gang mentality in a lot of minority groups, same as a mob mentality in a bunch of white skinned.
Go to any hospital and you will find a lot of decent caring people of all colors. This points to people needing to have a purpose. Too many have been shut out, and now want to stay victims. My doctor is a well mannered articulate smart brown woman. (and very pretty)
I think this is getting muddled, hope someone can follow my thoughts on good people that exist.

double halls signage
by road to nowhere ini visited a double hall.
one thing i noted on the bulletin board was page 3 of some letter with a large a on it.
apparently there is at least a 4 page letter complete with a proper sized a or b or c to differentiate the sides.

I know about the information board, that is why I called it what it really is any where else. Do you remember that the Kingdom Ministry was also the bulletin, informant, kingdom service and some other names I don't recall. Now it is the CLAM workbook (with little work they didn't do for you).
What amazes me is there may have been a 15 minute part about the letter. I could have done it with one page, telling them to get their own A, or draw it with a felt pen.
Then they wonder why we call the meetings boring.

This probably is a good idea, but I really think the local guys could do something on their own. Maybe west wing east wing. Part of my amazement is how much they can say without saying anything.

Relaxed rules toward oral sex?
by Socrateswannabe inthese people won't state anything definitively, but here's an excerpt from the study article entitled "making christian marriage a success", in the august, 2016 watchtower.
it does make me wonder.. although the bible does not provide specific rules about the kinds and limits of love play that might be associated with natural, sexual intimacy, it mentions displays of affection.
(song of solomon 1:2; 2:6) christian marriage partners should treat each other with tenderness.

Do You Think Jehovah's Witnesses Are Typically Ignorant People?
by minimus ini think most witnesses are simple minded.many are ignorant.
there are a lot of basically "good people "in the religion but i believe many are kind of dumb, including many elders.
do you agree with my thoughts??

yes witness such words as lieberry, axe, prnOUNcitation, even Jehovahwitness
a good person doesn't always have good grammar though.

anyone try to disquise their intellect,??? a lot of us have certain pet phrases, sayings, and opinions. If you know me you could pick them out. I try to not spell extra well, use good puncuation, correct errors. I make enough mistakes anyway. sometimes I wonder about the breathless no spaces no paragraphs posts. they are hard to read and understand
it would be nice to be able to actually talk about dashed hopes, questions, failing to really be the religion we invested our lives in, but we can't because of many reasons

Beautiful new kingdom song
by slimboyfat inhas anyone noticed this new song?
i think it's absolutely beautiful.
it's got a film score quality about it, with depth and feeling.

I'm glad you liked it. I didn't. Another song by the muppets or such. It was better than a lot of what they put out. Give me some good old rock and roll, a real hymn (I don't have to agree with the sentiment), or some good old american/irish/blues/folk songs.

This is why the Elders should always call the WT society or personal attorney before ever talking to the Police.
by StoneWall inthis is probably going to unnerve some on here or make them uncomfortable.we always hear, why didn't the elders call the cops first instead of the wt society (lawyers/attorneys).
in cases of child molestation or other incidents.this video is why and if you're smart you'll follow their example.i'm not taking the wtbts side on this just so you know in advance because i do not agree with the two witness rule at all.but be that as it may, this is by far the best lawyer/attorney and law professor i've ever heard on the subject of why you should never talk to the police and always let an investigation be made through counsel.this is why in the usa you have the right to remain silent when talking to police/authorities but even more important what the fifth amendment really entails and why it would behoove us all to understand what can happen even if you are totally innocent and have nothing to hide but how things can go horribly wrong.if i ever have to go to court for anything i can only hope that i got a lawyer as competent as this one the vid is approx 46 minutes long but well worth investing that time because if you had to talk to a lawyer it would cost you a lot to receive what this professor covers in this.the majority is from the law professor and the remaining minutes are of a former police captain/investigator with his insights and opinions.and just to be clear, i'm not suggesting that the elders not call the police because they should in cases of child molestation but rather they better get legal advice to protect themselves so that they don't have to answer for the wtbts decisions.look how many former (ex) elders we have on sites like this one and others and i'm so happy they got free of the wt but also they didn't get in trouble by accidentally saying/doing the wrong thing.all of us can benefit by following this advice in the video and i hope you enjoy it and to know what your rights arehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xyp7ee.

do not call someone elses lawyer to keep them out of trouble. if needed, call your own.
I remember drifting around a corner at around 80 in a 40 zone, met a cop going the other way first question was how fast were you going, I didn't get the radar on. I replied I didn't know, just drove the road a lot and may have been over the limit. Had a visit and that was all. You don't have to answer questions in the US

Kids ... and baptism.
by Tallon ini have noticed, from reading posts on this and other related websites, what to me is an alarming practice taking place within the jw's.
and that is the baptism of kids.. on a recent discussion posted by pe ( video of the girl now forced to shun her sister) this child was baptised at 9 years old.
all of us who were baptised at a much older age know of the many questions one needs to give serious consideration and understanding of to become eligible for baptism, not to mention the two baptism questions asked before being dunked.. surely the organisation must know that children of such a young age are not mature enough to fully grasp the seriousness, demands and consequences of making such a decision.. another point; if jesus is the example to follow, then why did he only get baptised at age 30, and he was perfect!.

a brash self centered bigoted individual makes a perfect elder at an early age. Most of the better ones came from the world and have some bruises to cause empathy, and they are older enough to be considered wise in some part.
